* The expression on SPK's face when he saw our little one for the first time: utter joy laced with tears.
* My shock at the doctor's "it's a boy!" and my immediate falling head over heels for that baby boy.
* The first time I took two showers in one day: the first in our bathroom, the second made possible by the 'business' of my little boy. As SPK said "watch OUT!" and my forehead was doused, the stream continued to spray a nice rainbow shape across the room. SPK's next expression? "He's got distance."
* Newborn facial expressions: the lizard, whole face yawns which always end in scrunched up sadness, the 'oh' pursed lips, glimpses of a sweet smile which serves and will melt mama's heart but now mostly, which means yet another diaper change.
* "Touchdown!" arms, "I'll just rest here" arms, Houdini who can get out of even Daddy's swaddle.
* Middle of the night feedings filled with talking to my new little man and praying thankfulness to a gracious God.
* Noni's facebook post. Speechless. :)
* The blessing of one of my best friends, who also happens to be my sister, traveling six hours as soon as she heard he was here.
* Being a mama and sharing the sweetness and intimate moments of it with my mom, who I strive to mirror as I walk this journey.
* The help of so many kind and generous people: running errands, cleaning, cooking dinner, offering to pray for us, sending cards...too many to count but so appreciated.
* God's provision in his time.
