Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Lately, this has been a prayer of mine; instead, of double-thinking what others say or do around me, I want to only think on these things. It's enlightening and freeing all at once to live not in the shadows of other's words or actions, but in the light of God's commands. Just a thought that passed through my head and heart today.
