Thankfulness

Just a post to give thanks to God for:
-a baby boy who has captured his Momma's heart
-lessons learned (and continuing to be learned) about how God provides for us 'just enough' and in His time
-God's provisions financially
-50 clothing pieces for $50.00 for a growing boy (already fitting in 6 month sized clothes!)
-weekends with just the three of us
-a sermon series on Ecclesiastes which challenges our hearts to find joy in the good and the bad of our journeys here on Earth
-ability to lift up to our Father a sweet college friend who is facing cancer treatments with grace
-blue skies, cool breezes, grassy lawns, and a baby on a blanket finding his toes
-a completed nursery
-middle of the night nursing with a sleepy baby (and Momma) :)
-calm before a doctor's appointment
-swings, Miracle blankets, Daddy's arms, and Beco baby carriers
-three (for the most part) calm car rides
-getting to see the Howell family and squeaky Hokie shoes
-upcoming marriage conference
-rereading an oldie but a goodie, John Piper's Desiring God
-soft striped baby pants and baby jeans--oh.so.cute.
-eyelashes sleeping on cheeks
-photos of Tot on her bicycle & Tupelo in a red wagon taking me back to childhood walks with Daddy and brothers and sis
-Facetime with the Lizard
-being Auntie Deca to another girl, Miss Millie
-a walk with Auntie A and Miss Millie which helped me know how to pray for them through a tough transition
-naptime
-the fact that today was the day where I would find the time to blog

It was one of those days where I knew being thankful was the only road to keeping my eyes on Him.

Psalm 105:1-5
Oh, give thanks to the Lord; call upon His name;
make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
tell of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Seek the Lord and His strength;
seek His presence continually!
Remember the wondrous works that HE has done,
His miracles, and the judgements He has uttered.
