The ninety degree days, the scorching sun, the lack of rain and the abundance of green-leaved trees....WHAT? Yes, we are sitting here on the halfway point of October and each day brings heat and a lack of cool, fallness. In the early evening, I still break a hard sweat in in shorts and a t-shirt on walks with Charley or my mom. Quite an interesting experience.
Onto other subjects, we have had a busy fall, though lacking in colorful trees, we have been involved in much: we helped build the new church playground, VT football continues, a 10 year high school reunion, Scott is now traveling the state of VA, I made a trek to Richmond to visit Rhett & Sarah and to attend a math conference (at which I met my new nephew--Major, a small, White Westie who is simply a cutie), the Red Sox are pressing on (hopefully to beat the Indians), and our fall "must DVR" shows have started! :) It is obvious that school is in full swing because my entries are falling few and far between, but my heart would rather be writing about life, instead of living the craziness it can often foster. Our prayers are that your life is filled with quiet moments that allow you to take a breath and enjoy your day. Immerse yourself in the ''in-between times" and know you are being prayed for with love. Until next time may God's grace be yours and may your heart be filled with His presence.
