The photo above is a definite fave from our newborn shoot when F was mere weeks old.
In past weeks, I put it in a simple frame, where it leans against the wall of our stairwell.
Numerous stair climbs and descents make up my days, now with a distinct focus.
A simple reminder to live each day to the fullest because these moments, the small and the large,
they pass by, at times without a second thought or grumbling or fog or mustbefinishedwiththisday.
Regardless of size, they must be captured by my heart's lens, held in wonder,
and cradled. For tomorrow, today's moments are history.
So live, with cradling of moments in mind, the ones easy to embrace and yes,
those which grate, because too quickly they slip away.
James 4:14
How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog--it's here a little while, then it's gone.
